☀️ Medieval Charm on the Adriatic: Rab, Croatia
This incredible aerial photograph captures the historical core of Rab Town (Grad Rab), situated on Rab Island in the beautiful Adriatic Sea, Croatia.
Architectural Icon: Rab is famously known for its distinctive skyline, often nicknamed "the ship with four masts," thanks to its four prominent medieval bell towers. The large, square stone bell tower in the center of the image is a perfect example of this Romanesque architecture.
Old Town Core: The settlement is densely packed onto a narrow peninsula, featuring characteristic Mediterranean architecture with red terracotta roofs and stone walls, all surrounded by deep blue sea.
