🏔️✨ Successful Ascent of Nevado Alpamayo – June 3rd, 2025
👨‍🏫 With UIAGM Certified Mountain Guide Pedro Huamán Díaz and IFMGA Guide Martin Gstrein – a German mountain guide and member of the Austrian Mountain Rescue Team

📅 On June 3rd, 2025, renowned UIAGM-certified mountain guide Pedro Huamán Díaz successfully led an expedition to the summit of Nevado Alpamayo (5,947 m) – one of the most iconic peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, and often celebrated as the most beautiful mountain in the world. 🏆🏔️

🧗‍♂️ Route: Classic Ferrari Route
⛏️ Features a steep, sustained 60° ice wall, stretching approximately 450 meters
⛺ Departure from high camp (5,300 m) in the early morning hours
🌤️ Clear skies and ideal climbing conditions
⏱️ Summit reached after ~8 hours of continuous ascent

📸 At the Top:
The team was rewarded with unforgettable 360° panoramic views of surrounding giants:
🔭 Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Quitaraju, and many more glacier-covered peaks of the Andes ❄️🏔️

Pedro Huamán Díaz, originally from the village of Cashapampa, is one of Peru’s most respected high-altitude professionals.
