This video was recorded on 1 Nov 2022. Today in the same area forecast temp 15c in late Aug 26 . Someone no doubt will tell us this is global warming or maybe climate change ? Sorry folks . I remember 1982/83 which a drought year . This is variable weather .

With trail boss out of action today we called on our little mate Reggie . She had the guests trotting and cantering to Geehi on her little stock horse
It just so happens she’s the best mortgage broker in the Snowy Mountains looking after clients Australia wide

Next in this series is Kevie Mizen. One of Peter’s good mates, and long time volunteer on the treks. He first came to CHT in April of 2016 and has been an integral part of the business ever since. His terrible jokes and relentless banter are enjoyed by staff and guests alike. A Qlder through and through, he will make sure you know that maroon is the best colour out there 🤔😉

Next in this series is a man who needs no introduction. The founder of CHT and Camp Boss.

For Peter, CHT was never about money. His passion for the mountains, horses and high country, and the spiritual and cultural traditions are what drove him all those years ago, and still to the present day. Offering an opportunity to experience his world is and always has been, the objective. Being told by a rider that they want the same horse on return is his reward.

In this series we will be introducing you to some important members of the CHT team. First cab off the rank is Peta.

Peta first came to CHT when she was 10yrs old with her dad Kev. All the way from Chinchilla in Qld, she is now 19 and has taken on the role of camp cook (but let’s be honest - she is Peter’s right hand gal for everything)!
