Sorry folks, although it looks like a beautiful morning today, the weather forecast is telling us that it’s too windy to operate this weekend. Hmmm, not sure I believe it today, but we will have to trust the experts.

The crazy weather is back! We do hope to be open these school holidays, however our opening days will be dependant on the wind. Just a reminder that we do not operate in winds above 20km/hr. At this stage we may not be open at all this week, but I’ll keep you posted!

There were heartfelt scenes in South Australia’s Mid North as a convoy of 23 trucks rolled into Jamestown, carrying 1,500 bales of donated hay.

For drought-stricken farmers, it brings a few precious weeks of relief—and a glimmer of hope—as their battle for survival grows increasingly dire 💔

The 1,500 bales of hay delivered to Jamestown were donated and transported by the Rapid Relief Team (RRT), the charitable arm of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church. This initiative was part of RRT’s Farmers Community Connect event, aimed at supporting drought-affected farmers in South Australia’s Mid North. The hay, sourced from Queensland, was transported by a convoy of 23 trucks driven by RRT volunteers, many of whom are farmers themselves.

Additionally, other charitable organisations, including Aussie Hay Runners, Need for Feed, and Rural Aid, have been instrumental in delivering thousands of bales of donated hay to farmers across South Australia.

These combined efforts have provided much-needed relief to farmers facing one of the worst droughts in recent memory.

No booking? No worries! We’re open from 9am-3pm Sunday 11th May and walk ins are welcome.
