What would you make time for on a trip?
A big game? A concert? A restaurant your favourite celebrity goes to and you follow on Insta?

Well, for sports lovers, a trip to London and a tour of Lord’s is a pretty good combination.

Walking through the Long Room, seeing the Pavilion, all the names, the memorabilia and the places where so many moments in the game’s history have played out makes you appreciate just how significant Lord’s really is.

Having experienced it first-hand, I can now see just how special this is.

Put this one on your London list, especially if you like your travel with a bit of history and sport thrown in, and let me take care of the planning 🏏

Fly with me in Business Class ✈️

I’m extremely grateful to have experienced Qatar Airways business class for this trip, so here are a few reasons I’d book you on it for a longer-haul journey.

The Qsuite. From Sydney to Doha, I was in Qatar’s Qsuite - an enclosed suite with sliding doors and your own private space. For an overnight flight, that privacy is a big tick for me.

From Doha to London, we flew business on the A380, and that was a completely different experience, with the open upper-deck cabin and the onboard bar. If you like having a bit more space to move around during a long flight, it’s a nice option to have.

The sleep factor. A fully flat bed makes a big difference when you’re travelling long-haul, particularly when you’re flying overnight and want to arrive ready to get on with your trip.

These are the things I look at when I’m deciding whether Business Class is worth considering for your trip, it really does come down to the flight, the timing and what matters to you.

You’re going to want to save this one 👀
Next year has some seriously good opportunities to turn a few days of annual leave into much longer breaks, meaning more time to actually go somewhere, rather than squeezing a trip into a long weekend.

I’m feeling incredibly grateful for how busy things have been lately, and especially for all of you who have trusted me with your travel plans. Right now, my focus is on making sure everyone heading away soon is completely organised, with all the final details, bookings and little things taken care of before I head off to Europe myself.

For the next week, I’m pressing pause on new enquiries while I give my full attention to my current travellers and get them all ready to go.

A little heads up, I’ll soon be swapping my desk for a few different views… ✈️

After a very busy few months of planning your dream Euro adventures, I’m heading over with a pretty good mix of work and play planned.

There’ll be lots of hotel and destination research, a Viking cruise and some well-earned holiday time mixed in too.

You can just book Hamilton Island - or I could help you really make a trip of it ☀️😌

Hamilton Island has been one of my favourite Aussie getaways for years, and after plenty of visits, I’ve picked up a few ideas for making a stay here feel that little bit more special.

These are a few of the things I’d consider when planning a Hamilton Island escape. You definitely don’t need to do them all - we’d always work through your travel style and what you want out of the trip first.
