Adelaide has been a National Park City for 2 years! 🥳

The time has flown by since we were the second city in the world to gain the status and join a global movement to create cities worldwide where people and nature are better connected.

It’s been an awesome year of contributions to – and celebrations of – Adelaide National Park City. We’ve seen hundreds of events to celebrate, connect with and learn about nature through Grow It Local, Nature Festival, the Joint International Congress and Science Alive!

We’ve also seen 5 other cities nominated to become National Park Cities and look forward to seeing them gain the status in the near future.

Thank you to the National Park City Foundation, our fellow members, council partners, organisations we work with, and all of you who have helped us become – and continue to be – a National Park City.
