🎨 Where wildflowers meet a towering canvas... 🌼🌾
On our journey through Western Australia’s rugged south coast, there’s a moment that always stops us in our tracks — the breathtaking Ravensthorpe Silo Art.
Standing 25 metres tall, these silos tell a vivid, larger-than-life story of the region’s iconic biosphere, painted by world-renowned street artist Amok Island. The mural features six stages in the life cycle of the Banksia baxteri, a native wildflower found nowhere else on Earth.
🖌️ Why it matters:
This artwork isn’t just stunning — it’s a celebration of the incredible biodiversity of the Fitzgerald River National Park, and a powerful reminder of the beauty worth protecting.
