🎨 Where wildflowers meet a towering canvas... 🌼🌾
On our journey through Western Australia’s rugged south coast, there’s a moment that always stops us in our tracks — the breathtaking Ravensthorpe Silo Art.

Standing 25 metres tall, these silos tell a vivid, larger-than-life story of the region’s iconic biosphere, painted by world-renowned street artist Amok Island. The mural features six stages in the life cycle of the Banksia baxteri, a native wildflower found nowhere else on Earth.

🖌️ Why it matters:
This artwork isn’t just stunning — it’s a celebration of the incredible biodiversity of the Fitzgerald River National Park, and a powerful reminder of the beauty worth protecting.

🌿 What makes this stop so special on our Untamed Escape?
✔️ It’s a pause to reflect on nature through art
✔️ A chance to support and celebrate small-town creativity
✔️ A powerful visual link between culture, conservation, and connection

🌿 Descend into the Dreamtime at Ngilgi Cave 🌌
Beneath the surface of Yallingup lies a world carved by nature and steeped in legend — welcome to Ngilgi Cave, one of the Margaret River region’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders.

Wander through chambers of glowing stalactites, shimmering crystals, and ancient rock formations, while hearing stories of the cave’s deep connection to Wardandi Aboriginal culture. Named after the good spirit Ngilgi, this cave isn't just a geological marvel — it’s a sacred space of storytelling, healing, and natural power.

Enjoy some amazing pics from our Kangaroo Island tour last week! There’s a good reason you often hear the Island referred to as a zoo without fences. The wildlife encounters here are always next level! Even in winter, it’s an absolute delight.

New wheels, new adventures 🚌
Big smiles and even bigger journeys ahead! This week, Hassie picked up the keys to our brand-new Toyota Coaster DLX from the legends at Peter Kittle Toyota - Port Lincoln, and we couldn’t be more excited. This beauty is set to hit the road soon.

One of those perfectly timed (and totally accidental) wildlife shots 🙌 📷
Captured on our Kangaroo Island tour last week, just as this beautiful red-tailed black cockatoo took flight right above this unsuspecting adventurer's head! He’s cool, calm and completely unaware he’s starring in what might be our photo of the year! 😎

✨ Kaurna Country from Above ✨

From the sky, Adelaide (Tarntanya) stretches out below. A vibrant city cradled between the sea and the hills. The River Torrens, or Karrawirra Pari, winds gracefully through its heart, a lifeline that has flowed for thousands of years, nourishing the land and its people.

We are grateful to walk, work, and explore on the lands of the Kaurna people, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. 🌿

Have you ever followed the curve of Karrawirra Pari on foot or bike? It’s a whole new perspective of the city.

The Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby is one of Australia’s most striking marsupials. These beautifully marked wallabies were once on the edge of extinction due to habitat loss and introduced predators. But thanks to ongoing recovery efforts, including predator control and habitat protection programs in places like the Ikara–Flinders Ranges, their numbers are slowly climbing.

Spotting one in the wild is a rare and unforgettable experience—and a reminder of the incredible impact conservation can have.

Join us in exploring this ancient, awe-inspiring landscape and learn about the wildlife, stories and partnerships that help protect it. 🌿
