Croatia was a whirlwind — a couple wines, a lot of stairs, and one questionable cliff jump. Dubrovnik? Beautiful, but maybe go off-season unless you love sweating your way through a crowd of tourists. The water? Next level. The adrenaline? Instant. My testicles? Still technically attached but at this point I’m pretty sure they’re living in a new post code. Been trying to coax them back out for the last 24 hours.

The wine in Bosnia & Herzegovina: 10/10.My pronunciation of the wine names: war crime.Locals look at me like I kicked their grandma,so I just whisper “I’m Australian” and walk away. 🫣🍷🇦🇺

Bosnia & Herzegovina — where East meets West 🌍🍷 A place where cultures collide, history whispers through cobblestone streets, vineyards stretch under golden skies and young men jump off bridges to prove their manliness. This country is a must for any traveler or wine lover. ✨ Can’t wait to explore more of this special corner of the world. 💫

Bosnia Herzegovina has completely blown me away. 😲 It’s nothing like I imagined—such a different culture and terrain compared to the other places I’ve visited in Eastern Europe. 🌍 Plus, the wine? It’s been constantly blowing my socks off. 🍷

Travel and wine—once you’ve started, there’s no turning back. Every place, every sip, just makes you want more. 🌍🍷 This Rubin from Bulgaria, a hybrid of Syrah (Shiraz) and Nebbiolo, has taken it to the next level. 🤯 My mind is seriously blown by this one.

Still buzzing from an epic wine tasting with Simona (apologies if I’ve spelt that wrong) in Veliko Tarnovo Bulgaria 🇧🇬🍷 Felt like a kid in a candy store—couldn’t wipe the grin off my face! The aromas and flavours were wild—so different from anything I’ve tasted back home. Bulgarian wines? Seriously underrated. Tried grape varieties I’d never even heard of, and now I’m hooked. One of the absolute highlights of this trip so far. Had a red after this video was taken that knocked my socks off so the red’s rating went right up too.

Romania 2025 🇷🇴

Make out I didn’t say Budapest!!! That’s a Michael Jackson slip. Those that know will know.

Wish I had another month to explore—I’ve only just scratched the surface here. Romania feels like a country on the rise, and their red wines, especially Fetească Neagră, are right up my alley. I meant variety, not blend when I was talking about it… but you get the idea. 🍷🇷🇴

Finally got my hands on a Feteascâ Neagrâ—and it did not disappoint (unlike my wine glass). This 2024 .maier may still be young, but it’s already bursting with character. Think Merlot turned up to eleven: rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced with dark forest fruits and a touch of spice. Socks = blown off. 🍷🔥
