This week, we join the national conversation to recognise and raise awareness of palliative care, care that focuses on quality of life, dignity, and comfort for people living with a life-limiting illness, and support for their families.

Every day in Australia, more than 450 people could benefit from palliative care, yet too many still miss out or access it too late.

This Palliative Care Week, we acknowledge the dedicated clinicians, nurses, volunteers, and families who provide and experience this deeply human care, and we encourage open, honest conversations about what matters most.

Anne-Marie Quinn, AOG Managing Director, recently attended the IHG Hotels & Resorts Geelong famil, where the brand-new Crowne Plaza Geelong and Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong were showcased. Being able to experience the impressive Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre and exploring what Geelong and the Bellarine region have to offer for our clients is so valuable.

There’s nothing like seeing and experiencing destinations first-hand. It was fantastic to discover new venues, experiences and opportunities, and we’re excited to bring fresh ideas back to our clients. Thank you IHG Hotels & Resorts and Jolanda Cook for this wonderful experience.
