For Community Heroes Dress-Up Day at preschool, Rhys’ son Cohen chose to go as his favourite hero — his dad. 🦸‍♂️

He turned up in matching hi-vis, ID badge and all, carrying a parcel of lollipops for the class to open at lunchtime. 🍭

A little artwork. A little kindness. A big impact. 💙

To bring our Beyond Blue Connection Postcards to life, we teamed up with Australian artist Jocelyn Proust, whose design features the beautiful native bird, the Superb Fairy Wren — a bird she often sees on walks around Sydney’s northern beaches.

“I wanted the design to symbolise a feeling of connection... The fairy wren, with its bright blue feathers and friendly nature, felt like the perfect fit.”

A recent Beyond Blue study found that one in three people in Australia have reported feeling lonely. Jocelyn hopes her artwork sparks joy and reminds people they’re not alone.

“It’s so rare to receive a handwritten postcard these days. I hope this one brings a little spark of joy — and shows someone you care.

With Australia Post sending five million postcards to households around Australia, I’m hopeful that my art can play a role in helping people to connect.”

Delivery scam texts are on the rise and they’re getting trickier to spot. Don’t fall for it. If it feels off, trust your gut.⁣

Here’s how to stay scam-safe:⁣
✅ Track parcels safely in the AusPost app with legitimate notifications
📛 Don’t click links from unknown numbers — even if it says ‘AusPost’⁣
📛 Never enter personal or payment info via SMS⁣
📛 Report dodgy texts to [email protected]⁣
📛 Delete the message after reporting – don’t reply⁣

Postie Mal was on his usual delivery run in Warrandyte when the car in front of him suddenly veered off the road and flipped onto its side. Without thinking twice, he pulled over, ran to the car, and helped the driver climb out to safety.

Thankfully, everyone was okay — though the reason for the crash might surprise you. A caterpillar had crawled onto the driver’s arm, and our team have affectionately nicknamed Mal “The Caterpillar” ever since 🐛

It’s a strange reminder that anything can happen on the road — and why we’re always grateful for posties like Mal, who show up for their communities every day. We couldn’t be prouder 🤝♥️

A big shout-out to the Warrandyte Brigade Warrandyte CFA, CFA (Country Fire Authority), Victoria Police and everyone who stopped to help.
