✈️ MAJOR EXPANSION: Starlux Airlines is taking on Europe and Oceania in 2027! 🌍

Taiwan’s "luxury boutique" carrier, STARLUX Airlines, has dropped a massive network announcement, revealing ambitious plans to expand to four major global destinations by 2027.

🇪🇺 The Next European Frontiers: Barcelona & Zurich
Starlux has officially applied for permits to serve Barcelona (BCN) and Zurich (ZRH) from its Taipei hub.

History in the making: If approved, the Barcelona route will establish the first-ever regular nonstop air connection between Spain and Taiwan!

No more tedious layovers in the Middle East, Hong Kong, or mainland China just to get between these two markets.

🦘 Heading Down Under: Sydney & Auckland
Oceania is also getting the Starlux treatment! The airline is gearing up to launch a Taipei–Sydney route, which will feature a trans-Tasman leg continuing directly on to Auckland.

Expect to see their stunning Airbus A350-900s or A330neos operating these routes—complete with their highly-rated, doored Business Class suites (and First Class on the A350s).

FlixBus Europe’s iconic green coach network has officially rolled into Australia. 🇦🇺🚌

FlixBus is bringing low-cost long-distance travel to routes connecting cities like Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns, with fares starting from under $10 during launch promotions. The company already operates across more than 40 countries and has now made Australia its 45th market.

For backpackers, budget travellers and regional tourism, this could be a major shake-up to the Australian transport market. Free Wi-Fi, power outlets, airport connections and overnight routes are all part of the model that made FlixBus huge in Europe.
