Virgin Voyages asked people who don’t cruise - why not? What don’t you like about cruising?

The answers:
- dislike buffets
- don’t want to pay extra for basics like WiFi, soft drinks, or fitness classes
- don’t want to pay tipping etc
- don’t want kids running everywhere!

So in typical Richard Branson style - he fixed it!

Virgin Voyages offers Adults Only cruising to those aged 18 and over - so no kids! They include more things you want and expect - like basic WiFi and soft drinks, and for those with a focus on wellness - free gym facilities, and access to a huge variety of free fitness and wellness classes (it was embarrassing the people I saw leaving the gym at midnight when I was leaving the bar! Haha).

No tipping - means you can enjoy your cruise and the amazing service onboard without having to worry about how to much to tip!

Let’s talk aesthetics- sleek, modern, with whimsical touches, and subtle little nods to luxury. The red hammocks on the balcony of the Sea Terrace cabins might be the best thing I’ve ever seen on a cruise ship.

And then there is the food! 🤤

Virgin offers over 20 restaurants and eateries - all included! There is a food hall style eatery (think food court, as opposed to ‘buffet’) for those that like choices and variety and for those who are having too much fun to sit down for a full seated meal. But for those who like high end quality food - this is the cruise for you.

From exceptional Italian at Extra Virgin, to mouth-watering steak and seafood at The Wake, to Mexican at Pink Agave, to Korean BBQ at Gunbae - every meal was delicious and we were rolled out at the end will full bellies. 😂

Virgin Voyages broke the mould for what cruising could look and feel like.
