School holidays are nearly here — and before our Seniors Month workshops begin, we have a little week of creativity planned at Make & Mend.

Our Seniors Month Creative Connections program begins, with Council-funded creative experiences rolling through October at Make & Mend and Wild Sandalwood.

Over just a few weeks, the same creative space will welcome children, mothers and daughters, adults, grandparents and seniors.

Little hands. Older hands. And everyone in between. ❤️

Something different to catch in Agnes Water this weekend! 🏉☀️

The OZTAG Challenger Event is on at Discovery Coast Sport and Recreation Association this Saturday, with mixed teams hitting the field from 11am for an afternoon of fast-paced action.

Head down, find a spot on the sidelines and cheer them on! 🙌

There’ll also be a food van there from 11am, so lunch is sorted too 😋

🏉 OZTAG CHALLENGER EVENT – AGNES WATER

There’s some great sporting action coming to Agnes Water this September!

The Oztag Challenger Event is coming to Discovery Coast Sport & Rec on Saturday 12 September, with mixed teams taking to the field for an afternoon of fast-paced Oztag.

Come down, find a spot on the sidelines, and get behind the players as Agnes Water hosts this fantastic event.

It’s the vibe.

And lately, we’ve been giving ours a little refresh 😉

We’ve moved a few things around, changed up the layout and made some space on the walls for new artwork.

Because we want our shop to be more than somewhere you pop in to book a tour or grab a souvenir.

We want it to be somewhere you enjoy having a wander through.

A place to discover local makers and artists, find something a little different, have a chat, get some local recommendations… and maybe leave with something you weren’t expecting to find.

So if you haven't popped in for a while, come and check out the new look.

Coming to Agnes Water & 1770 these September school holidays? 🌴

Here’s our biggest tip:

Plan ahead.

September is one of our busiest school holiday periods and our little town fills up FAST.

If Lady Musgrave Island or one of the 1770 LARC! tours is on your holiday wish list, we highly recommend booking before you arrive rather than waiting until you get here.

We hate seeing families miss out on something they were really looking forward to simply because it has booked out.

A little planning now = a lot more relaxing when you get here 😉

And if you’re not sure what to book, that’s exactly what we’re here for. Pop into the shop or give us a call and we'll get you sorted!

Maybe Dad doesn’t need another thing this Father’s Day.

Maybe he’d rather have an adventure 🌊

Take him out to the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Spend the day exploring with the iconic LARC. Head out on the water for a kayak. Or keep things simple and hire a couple of bikes for the day and spend it exploring Agnes Water & 1770 together.

Because sometimes the best Father’s Day present isn’t something you wrap.
