Not my proudest moment last night. Got home about 8.30 after a sunset sail decided to cook some creamy mash potatoes to accompany my roast chicken one of my signature dishes.

Not sure if it’s an over 50 thing but I couldn’t figure out why it was taking so long for the potatoes to boil. It was only at about 11.30 when I was doing the dishes did I realise I had one pot inside the other for storage.

Needless to say I burnt the s**t out of the bottom pan the the water was 30mm away in the next pan. It took a whole episode of Peeky Blinders to boil them.

I can lift heavy weights but I’m not going to cure cancer.
