On Yesterdays Full Day reef trip we dominated the Coral Trout and Red Throat emperor which was our target species for the day. We mixed it up and mainly used jigs, soft plastics and vibes from our sponsor Dirty Tackle.
Focused on the quality fish in shallow water.

With the tides, moon and wind aligning once again we are looking at running another NIGHT TIME CHARTER on Friday night and/or Saturday night. We had a lot of interest last time for this exclusive experience and now is your chance to jump on if you missed it last time.

We have variables of 10 knots tomorrow which means a very flat ocean, and for throughout the week calm seas giving us all the options on heading out wide and getting stuck into it.

The trout have been hot on the bite in around the islands, seeing some large commons and barcheek.
Finally the weather has also come exceptionally good for the whole week and the cyclone that was off our coast has now moved away south.

Thursday the 13th, 3/4 Day with available spots to fill. 6 hours fishing the Outer Islands and Shoals.
Largemouth Nannygui, Coral trout and red emperor. The conditions are looking good and the fish should be biting especially on our wonky holes we have around the area.

A wonky hole is an underwater spring the pushes fresh water up which holds bait fish for larger predators to come in, clean themselves and feed. This rain we have had has been good for them to now be flowing.
So with a game plan set jump onboard and let’s make it happen for you guys.

This weekend the winds are dropping away giving us a perfect opportunity for Full Day outer reef fishing.
This mean we travel to the Great Barrier Reef but not just the first section, we use the time and fuel to push through to the better fishing zones on the reef, not where everyone else goes. Areas that are 100km offshore is where we are heading, come and join us for that.

That wind has dropped away for a few days coming up so let’s make the most of it!
Let’s run some Full Day Charters out to the clean water of the Great Barrier Reef. It is time to get some fish back onboard so come and do it with us.
The full day charter gives us time to travel the distances where not many people can fish, we all know for a fact that there hasn’t been anyone out there for close to a week! Fish the two tides and work the areas where the fish want to bite!

Check out these catches! 👇
Some quality fish to come over the side before this weather has settled in. The guys have been having a ball coming onboard and experiencing this style of fishing on the Great Barrier Reef.

5 star table fish, catch a feed of Coral trout instead of paying $90 a kilo!

We would like to let everyone know that we have stopped the charters until the start of next week when that weather possibly comes better and safer.

Our team hopes so see you all again very soon and some new faces on charter with us. Book ahead while there is availability for the upcoming season.

More fish from the Outer islands and The Great Barrier Reef. What a good few days of weather we have had. Little wind plus small tides create these glass outs, 20m+ of visibility being able to see the fish eat out bait!
It is all about getting quality for the team, that’s what we are all about. Teaching clients our ways of fishing and giving them a better understanding of how it all works.

We cannot get enough of seeing our customers with big smile on their face after a big day of catching quality fish on the reef.
This time from Spanish mackerel to coral trout they were biting and that’s all we needed to catch them.

Sometimes when the fish aren’t biting though, we cannot force them to. There is a few ways though to increase the chance of filling the esky, using all our skills and knowledge from the past to do our best for you guys.

Come onboard and learn a few ways to how we fish this local area using commercial fishing techniques.

Everyone is welcome onboard our vessel, kids as young as 5 years old killing it fishing beside their parents!

A great feed and excellent conditions. This is how we like to do it on our trips, quality fish onboard, smiles all round, cannot complain on a day like this how bloody good!
