🚠The Whitsundays continues to evolve🚠🌴

The Queensland Government has declared the Whitsunday Skyway a Prescribed Project, helping streamline approvals for the proposed eco-tourism attraction.

The project includes a 1.8km cableway from Airlie Beach to Conway National Park, dining and cultural experiences, event facilities and bushwalking trails.

If delivered, the development is expected to attract more than 250,000 visitors annually, create up to 390 jobs during construction and support at least 80 ongoing jobs.

As a tourism operator, we’re excited to see continued investment in experiences that showcase the natural beauty of the Whitsundays and support the future growth of our region. 🌴💙

1. What’s your job? - I’m a deckie on the ThunderCat & Wildcat boats!

2. Where are you from? - I’m from Minnesota, USA! No ocean there, but we’re known as the land of 10,000 lakes.

3. Favourite part of the job? - Seeing people’s reactions to the incredible snorkeling spots!! Hearing everyone’s excitement from what they’re seeing below the surface has me smiling from ear to ear every time while up on the tender!

4. A fun fact no guest would guess about you? - I’ve been to 30 countries, & Australia was number 9!
