So we are homeward bound to Albany for now and I had to think twice on freeway south where I was headed because I've been traveling so much I actually forgot to get off at armadale Road silly me however that was in foresight a good move because armadale Road was chuka block and Gibbs Road was a much better route so for those folks heading south to get to Albany go Gibbs Road anytime when it's peak hour in the city

I've been driving my fantastic new little four-wheel drive around and my lumber settling and this is so comfortable and I've had so much fun on this last little so John which was just a rest and opportunity to see my family in Perth for a quick stop and sleepover and to see my girlfriend

I'm finally home for a week in Albany which is great I get to hand in some assignments for my course at TAFE in conservation I get to see my work colleagues at Woolworths at Dog Rock and I get to sit in my garden and start packing my home up

Tomorrow we will be running some online sessions on AI and data centers for the senate environment and communications committee because we have an extension to submit a very important piece of research and community consultations submission so I will put the link to register in the comments shortly we will be discussing the following topics on AI and data centers because a lot of people don't actually understand why it's important we do this properly because there are a lot of untruths about AI infrastructure

1. What is the current regulatory framework for an AI data centre or factory under the planning legislation

2. What are the actual resource requirements for AI infrastructure

3. What are the actual truths about AI infrastructure and how can we ensure we understand it properly

4. What are the benefits of AI infrastructure for the Australian National economy

5. What is the experience across the globe in other nations like the USA the EU and ASEAN region

6. What kind of legislative and regulatory governance framework do we need to ensure we don't pillage and destroy our Nations natural resources and especially communities

The consultation sessions are 2 hours long because we're going to cover so much I will be running multiple sessions tomorrow and more during the week

At the moment our extension is the 22nd of September 2026 but that can be shifted depending on how quickly we can explain and gather enough evidence across Australia to help inform this very important inquiry

Well I took a day off and have taken to the road in my new big gal country car and it's been so much fun to travel safely, in my own 4wd and go to places I haven't been yet and go back to places and be treated like a local!
