Visitors: Oh my gosh, that is the *least* miserable beach I've ever seen!
Us: Um... funny story actually...

🩵🌊Turquoise shallows, soft white sands, and a granite peninsula boasting one of the world's most jaw-dropping hikes. It's hard to believe a place like this could be called 'Misery Beach'. But it is.

So where does the name come from?

There's two main theories. One is that the granite rock that borders it can look like a frowning face in the afternoon light. 🌅 While the other is a callback to the unique whaling history of the region. 🐋Just a few hundred metres down the coast lies Albany's Historic Whaling Station , which was the last operating station in Australia. Whales were killed there until 1978, with remains from the process often making their way back into the water and staining the bay and shoreline.

Now, it makes a peaceful little cove to explore, with a recently renovated carpark making it more accessible.

What is Vinyasa Yoga??? A more heating flowing style of yoga.

Can experienced students attend the gentle class and can complete beginners attend the advanced class??? Our gentle class caters to complete beginners through to advanced students wanting to take the pace a little gentler. The pace, and the more advanced postures offered in the advanced class may not suit a complete beginner though. But…it is a class to work towards with continued practice.

The Bald Head walk trail has officially reopened in time for summer after some major upgrades 🌳

As far as hikes go, they don't get more scenic than this 12.5km trail through Albany's Torndirrup National Park 😍🥾
