With just 62 rebates left, you'll need to get in quick this week. Applications will be processed on a first come, first serve basis.

The claim form will be closed at 9am this Thursday, unless exhausted earlier, so be sure to check the website for updates throughout the day before dining out.

You might have noticed some fencing around the seawall near GH Ransom Reserve in Altona. There is a slight detour on the Bay Trail for about 130m.

That's a wrap on the first phase of community consultation for our new Council Plan.

Over the past few weeks, 36 community representatives have delved deeper into the issues more than 1000 of you told us were your priorities for Hobsons Bay for the next four years.

What's next? We review all the feedback and get to writing the draft plan. Keep an eye out in late October when you'll be able to read and provide your feedback on it.

🙌🌳 Despite the threat of rain, more than 150 community members joined us on Sunday to celebrate National Tree Day at Altona Coastal Park.

Together, we planted 2,175 plants and bushes. We also held a native plant giveaway, with 180 plants given to local residents to add to their home gardens.

💚 Thank you to everyone that came and contributed to our magical natural environment.
