NEXT UP: Surf Coast Trail Marathon - where the wild things run.

Also a perfect outing for those eyeing off their first trail run, first half marathon or first full marathon. Or our 'parent run' aka the Team (of two) Relay Marathon allowing parents to handball kids half way!

This is just a quick check in to say THANKS - to you, to the legion of vollies, sweeps and forerunners, our partners - especially Salomon Australia & New Zealand and Tailwind Nutrition Australia and Warburton Adventure Co

Thanks to the photographers and videographers, our mercurial MC Dave , our presenters Kellie Emmerson, .Kate Smyth, Fi Hewson and Em Maber, to our hosts in Warburton including Alpine Hotel Warburton , and to the running clubs that support us, especially for Warby the Melton City Runners,, and running clubs. And the interstaters who travel from afar - especially you repeat mob from South Australia and Queensland - legends the lot of you! Plus few internationals!! Canada, Iceland, US, Switzerland, NZ!

Thanks also to Heritage Films and Erchana Murray-Bartlett for allowing us to screen their film 150film - lock in and see it at a cinema if you didn;t catch it at Warby!

We proudly raised $4,000 for the Warburton Primary School (gracious hosts of the camp out), plus donated $2k to the local CFA brigades, and another $1700 to environmental organisations. We also helped maintain, clean up approx 50km of local trails.

So you're hot to trot for Warburton Trail Fest but then looking for something a bot different beyond just the trail...? A true adventure? A community who likes to mix their adventures up a little?

We have a little suggestion for you... get along to Kangaroobie Klassic taking place 14th March, weekend after Warby!

Fun, inclusive, challenging, for individuals and teams. The Kangaroonbie Klassic takes place in Princetown, near the Twelve Apostles, and regarded as one of teh best adventure races in Princetown East ;). And more broadly. Run by local legends (who duly assisted TdT in keeping peeps at GOTU hydrated) - we fully get behind this event and hope our community will too.

Run, MTB and paddle!

This is an awesome inclusive introduction into off-road multisport. Compete as an individual part of a team of 2,3 or 4.

Commencing with a 1km swim (Gellibrand River), 13.5km Mountain Bike, 5.7km river paddle and finishing with a challenging 7km trail run.

Paddle equipment is available for hire as part of your entry.

Still sorting your adventures in 2026? Come and join us for what may be our last crossing of Bali 🥲

BALI Coast2Coast
DATES: 27th April - 3rd May 2026
TRAIL TYPE: End to End - Coast to Coast
TOTAL DISTANCE: 100km (approx)
TOTAL ASCENT: approx 4300M ascent

HIGHLIGHTS: Moving across the entire island of Bali, we get to explore more than what most tourists see. As you move away from the northern coast, the waves and cheers from all the locals are enough to keep the legs moving. To ease us in, the first day our lunch stop is at a gorgeous panoramic pool to cool and fuel the body.

We continue into the dense forest to explore some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the area (feel free to cool down here too) and onto climbing Bali’s 2nd  mountain, Mt Batukaru 2276m.

Days two, three and four see us running through remote farming villages, and into the UNESCO World Heritage area of Jatiluwih, where we get to explore the beautiful rice terraces. Our final day sees us complete the island crossing and dipping our shoes into the ocean, running into Tanah Lot (one of Bali’s seven main sea temples).
