Explore the dune system and discover its rich history on a trip to the famous Tin City every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 2.00 pm. Take in an amazing sunset view with a romantic picnic on top of the dunes with a sunset picnic tour. Whatever you choose you will be mesmerised by the beauty and size of the Stockton Beach Sand dunes. Our fleet of modern, custom-built vehicles can cater for groups of any size. Tours depart 365 days a year (yes, even on Christmas day), rain, hail, or shine and sandboarding is available on all tours. Located at the very end of James Paterson Street Anna Bay, Port Stephens, you can’t miss our eye-catching ‘zebra’ truck and bright green and jet black custom-built transport vehicles ready to give you the experience of a lifetime! Shak is one of our sandboard instructors and hill staff, usually found bringing the vibes, having a laugh and making sure everyone is getting the most out of their time on the dunes. 🏂🏼

Whether you need a few tips before your first run or just a bit of encouragement to send it down the hill, Shak’s your guy.

There are some places that really put into perspective just how incredible Port Stephens is. 🌿🌊

The Worimi Conservation Lands are home to an extraordinary coastal landscape, where towering sand dunes stretch as far as the eye can see, bordered by beautiful coastal bushland on one side and the waters of Stockton Bight on the other.

The dunes form part of the largest mobile coastal sand mass in the Southern Hemisphere, with some reaching impressive heights and creating a landscape that is constantly shaped by the wind.

It’s a pretty spectacular view from the ground… but from above, you really get a sense of just how vast this place is. 🤍

The Worimi Conservation Lands also hold deep cultural significance for the local Worimi people, whose connection to this Country continues today.

If you’re visiting Port Stephens and would like to learn more about Worimi culture, history and connection to Country, Murrook Culture Centre is well worth adding to your trip. Located at Williamtown on the way into Port Stephens, it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the people and Country behind this incredible landscape.

The last weekend of the school holidays is almost here… so there’s still time to squeeze in one more adventure ☀️🏜️

If the kids are starting to get a little restless, bring them out to the dunes for a day that gets them outside, active and having FUN.

They can climb the dunes, race each other down, go again (and again… and again 😅) and head home with some pretty good stories to tell when they’re back at school.

And Port Stephens locals… sometimes the best adventures are right in your own backyard. No big road trip, no complicated plans… just an easy family day out on the incredible Worimi Conservation Lands.

And around here, there are plenty of ways to do exactly that.

Swim in the ocean. Chase the views. Spot dolphins. Explore somewhere new. Take the kids on an adventure. Ride through the dunes. Sandboard down them. Laugh when you inevitably stack it. Then climb back up and do it all again. 😂

Sometimes the best days are simply the ones where you get outside and do something you’ll remember.

Port Stephens is pretty good for days like that. 💚
