Well, that’s a wrap on our Journey to Jervis Bay!

What a cracking few days away with a fabulous group of 12 guests. We ate well, laughed a lot, explored some of the South Coast’s best-kept secrets and, somehow, managed to dodge every bit of bad weather the forecast threatened to throw at us.

In fact, the weather was so good I’m fairly certain someone had a quiet word to the weather gods before we left.

A huge thank you to our wonderful guests for making the trip so much fun. Great company, plenty of stories, a few cheeky laughs and more than enough good food along the way - exactly how travel should be.

Now, if only every tour came with blue skies on demand…

Our Journey to Jervis Bay tour is well and truly on the rails with Lachie! 🚆

Travelling by local rail, our guests made their way to the charming village of Berry for an overnight stay, complete with a delicious dinner at the Bangalay Dining in Shoalhaven heads.

Today has been spent exploring the stunning Bundanon, where guests enjoyed a fascinating visit to Arthur Boyd’s studio and the Bundanon homestead, along with a self guided tour of the museum. A highlight of the day was a special private tour of the home and studio hosted by the wonderful volunteer Julia, whose passion, knowledge and storytelling brought the history, art and legacy of this remarkable place to life.
