Today we had the pleasure of taking 15 wonderful ladies from our good friends at GSO on a very special day out with Elite Helicopters.

With three helicopters, the group took to the skies for an unforgettable luxury experience, starting the day with a beautiful champagne breakfast at Overflow Estate 🥂🍾

From there, it was off to the stunning Northview Highlands, where the ladies enjoyed a private Highland Cow picnic and farm tour, getting up close with these incredible animals while taking in the beautiful countryside. 🐮🌿

Good friends, great food, champagne, helicopters and plenty of laughs… it doesn’t get much better than that! ❤️

Mark Watterson

Behind every great helicopter experience is a team of passionate people who live and breathe aviation, and today, we’d like you to meet Mark Watterson, our General Manager.

Mark has been part of the Elite Helicopters team for the past six years, and what started as a career in aviation has grown into a genuine passion for everything helicopters.

As General Manager, Mark plays a key role in keeping the Elite operation running smoothly, from overseeing day-to-day operations and supporting our pilots and team, to working with our guests, partners and clients to deliver the high level of service Elite Helicopters is known for.

But for Mark, it’s more than just a job.

There’s something about helicopters that never gets old. Whether it’s seeing a guest experience their first flight, watching one of our aircraft lift off, or creating unique experiences that people will remember for years, Mark’s passion for aviation is at the heart of what he does.

After six years with Elite, Mark has seen the company grow, evolve and expand and he’s proud to be part of the journey as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in helicopter experiences.

“I’ve always had a passion for helicopters and the incredible opportunities they create. Being able to combine that passion with leading an amazing team and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests is something I’m incredibly proud of.”

Today we had the pleasure of flying a group charter out for a day of site inspections, followed by an incredible lunch experience at Spicers Peak Lodge.

Luke Moody 🚁

Today we’re introducing the man who helps keep Elite Helicopters flying safely and smoothly , Luke Moody, our Chief Pilot & Chief Flying Instructor.

With a wealth of experience in aviation and a passion for helicopters, Luke plays a huge role in everything we do at Elite. From flying our guests on unforgettable experiences to mentoring and training the next generation of pilots, safety, professionalism and a love of aviation are at the heart of what he does.

As our Chief Pilot, Luke is responsible for maintaining our high operational standards and ensuring our pilots are trained, current and ready to deliver the Elite experience every time they take to the skies.

But ask Luke what he loves most about the job and we’re sure the answer will come down to one thing, flying helicopters! 🚁

Whether he’s in the cockpit, training another pilot or helping behind the scenes, Luke is a big part of the Elite Helicopters team.
