Waterfall Way is the gateway to some of the country's most impressive waterfalls and world-heritage listed national parks.

It stretches 185 km from Armidale to Coffs Coast passing through the charming villages of Ebor, Dorrigo and Bellingen.

The Waterfall Way will take you on a journey of wonder and amazement as you follow the path of the water as it travels from the historic city of Armidale through five national parks, waterfalls, rivers and gorge country until it arrives at the pristine beaches of the Coffs Coast.

Let your wonder run deep on the Wollomombi and Chandler walking tracks, where it’s all about the waterfalls and wilderness.
The 4km trail is a relatively mild walk around the rim of the spectacular Wollomombi Gorge, and with lookouts and river crossings you really do get a taste of everything.
After all that exploring take in the fresh mountain air as you barbecue at Wollomombi Falls picnic area or head to Armidale to experience one of their infamous pub meals.

We loved seeing in the area exploring Wollomombi Falls and Gorge.

Wollomombi Falls is one of the highest waterfalls in Australia, with a total drop of just over 230m.

The lookout is just a short 5 minute walk from the carpark, easily accessible and has spectacular views of not one but two falls.

Wollomombi Falls are considered one of the highest waterfalls in Australia .. but wait there is more! Not only do you get to see the incredible Wollomombi Falls, but from the viewing deck you can see Chandler Falls as well.

We love this little hidden gem at the top of the rangers, 15 minutes out of .

Gara Gorge is a favorite with the locals year round with beautiful walking trails, picnic spots and unique swimming holes.
