We’re thrilled to welcome Arriah Keogh to the Blues, joining us for the 2024 netball season 🏐

Arriah comes from Maiden Gully YCW in the LVFNL. It was a big year for Arriah winning the A Grade 2023 Grand Final & also finishing 5th in the League BNF.
Arriah makes the move to Ballan FNC to play with her big sister, our senior netball coach, Vorn!

Arriah said she is most looking forward to meeting a new group of girls at Ballan for this coming netball season. “I am excited to be able to work with fresh personalities on and off the netball court and make new friendships. I hope to be able to contribute to my team, the other netball squads and the club as a whole!”

A few words from Vorn…

“I’m thrilled to be playing the 2024 netball season with my sister. It has been many years playing in different teams and leagues & I’m so happy that we have this opportunity.

Arriah is a very talented mid court netball player and with her grand final win in 2023 she’s got momentum coming into the 2024 season. Arriah is a strong addition for Ballan.”

Congratulations to Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics founding member and Life Member, Michael Cooper who was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) on Australian Day, Friday 26th January 2024, for his years of dedication to community sport.
Michael grew up in Bacchus Marsh and as a teenager organised athletics events for St Bernard's Primary School and in 1968 was invited to Chair the steering committee before forming the Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics Centre.
Michael dedicated many years to athletics in Bacchus Marsh as Centre President. He was Secretary of the Darley Football Club, Darley Park Committee of Management and the Bacchus Marsh Agricultural Show Committee before moving to Ballarat where he became involved in the Sebastopol Football Club and Mount Clear Athletics Club, receiving Life Membership to both Clubs.
Michael returned to the Centre to commemorate our 50th Anniversary Celebrations in December 2018 and proudly spoke of his time at BMLAC.
Well done Michael, a well deserved accolade.
