We’re back — and celebrating 35 years of small farming, sustainable living, and strong community connections 💚

First held in 1991, the Balingup Small Farm Field Day has been proudly run by local volunteers for over three decades, showcasing caring for land and animals, growing food and trees, cooking with fresh local produce, and creating crafts and fashion from natural materials.

Blackwood River Film Festival - Balingup Town Hall - 28 March

Running alongside the Arts Trail, the Blackwood River Film Festival showcases films by (mostly) Australian filmmakers, featuring six short films and three feature films, including the regional premiere of Pointe – Dancing on a Knife’s Edge.

Screenings will take place across the region:

Balingup Town Hall - 28 March (4pm & 7pm)
