Birdsville races, what a blast, got VIP pavilion tickets & was glad I did. I had a seat with some really nice people, different both days, cocktail style Friday & set seating Saturday, plenty of good food & beers, no good on the punt though

Tuesday morning, I left Coopers Creek, fuelled up in Windorah, then aimed for the Betoota hotel, a real outback pub, had a couple of beers, a lovely sunset, then got up to continue the journey to Birdsville, went and paid the most for diesel I ever have, rolled in the town common, set up had lunch & relaxed. Will explore the town & possibly Big Red tomorrow

Tuesday, we left Noccundra & stopped at Thargomindah for lunch. We were going to go to Yowah, but pouring rain & closed roads took us to the Eulo Queen Hotel caravan park, Wednesday to Cunnamulla's Warrego riverside caravan park. Thursday we headed to Charlotte Plains for 3 nights

Made it to Tibooburra. The road north is currently closed. 2 nights here so far, but hopefully it's open tomorrow.
