Had a nice night by the fire at Kylies Beach, got up to see the sun rise & walked to Kylies hut after that. Headed back to Coopernook Forest HQ for a few nights, then the Coopernook hotel for a couple more, with a trip into Taree for the car to be serviced. Spent last night at the Bulahdelah Bowling Club, a couple of meat trays won. Back to Newy via Anna Bay carwash, a few commitments over the next week.

Had to buy an Akubra while in Kempsey, then made my way to the Royal Hotel at Kew, a couple of beers & a feed to cover the camp out the back but highway noise all night. Another blood test this time in Laurieton, saw this Craig's Wall on google maps thought I'd better go there, then overnight at Kylie's Beach

Left Ebor Thursday & headed for Taylors Arm the home of Slim Dusty's Pub with no beer, spent 5 nights camped at the sports ground across the road, met some great blokes who were there riding big dirt bikes, left Tuesday morning to visit Slim's boyhood home at Nulla Nulla Creek then into Kempsey to visit the museum at the Slim Dusty centre

The weekend in Grafton watching the womens northern half state championship was great, camped at the Grafton Vintage Motor Car Club, probably the best value around town. Left Monday & had an explore at Ulmarra, then drove through Maclean and Yamba before heading for the Lawrence Tavern for the night, pub shut at 4pm so had lunch & a couple of beers, Tuesday headed to Coutts Crossing Tavern for another pub stay, sorry no photos. Have headed to Ebor to check out the falls & spend the night at a donation camp

This week, after a blood test in Taree, I did a couple of short hops to Coopernook Forest HQ, then the Coopernook hotel, where I caught up for a beer with JD, then a night at Delicate Nobby campground near Crescent Head, watched state of origin outside the caravan with a fire. Headed north Thursday in quite substantial rain did a drive through Macksville and Nambucca Heads before ducking a few k's up the waterfall way to sit out the rain watching TV inside the van. Up early today to head to Grafton to watch the womens masters this weekend.

Departed Newcastle Tuesday ti spend a couple more nights at the Victoria Hotel Hinton, had to go back into Newcastle for an appointment Thursday, left Hinton Friday stopping overnight at the donation camp at the Lions Park Bulahdelah, into Taree for a couple of nights at the showground, a bit of a hockey fix while I'm here. Hopefully a quick visit to Services Australia to sort out my gov account Monday morning then start heading a little further north

3 nights at thr Royal hotel Denman, then 2 nights at Merriwa Sports club, where I actually had to utilise the heater function on the air-conditioner in the van, & the cheapest chicken burger & chips meal @$10. Back to Newcastle for Tigers ladies club day & an appointment. A few days at Worlds End with mates, back to Newy for another appointment, now back on the road waiting to hear about my next appointment

Another delay in posting, after leaving Stroud, I headed back to the Victoria Hotel in Hinton, went to Newcastle to vote in the Lord Mayoral by-election to find the credit card hacked, nothing taken but had to wait for a new card, watched a couple of weekends of hockey, did ANZAC day with the Northo crew. A couple of nights at McNamara Park in Broke, a couple at Jerry's Plain, now a couple at the Royal Hotel Denman

Headed to Dungog for a pub lunch & more beer before an overnight at Frying pan. Off to join Paris & Mel & a few hundred ...

Headed to Dungog for a pub lunch & more beer before an overnight at Frying pan. Off to join Paris & Mel & a few hundred others at Riverwood Downs for the Big Country Campout, then stopped at the Stroud Showground for a couple of nights, mornings are starting to get cold.
