After sailing to the Goldcoast for maintenance and completing our survey inspection, XTsea is now back in Sydney and ready to go! Take advantage of this amazing Spring weather and the predicted hot Summer.

Winds have finally died down and we today made it to the beautiful river town of Ballina.

The Ballina Bar is one we approach with caution after a VERY exciting crossing some years ago, but today it was extremely calm. A nice change.

(Tip for cruisers.. Ballina BCF is a five minute walk from the public jetty and they will refill LPG tanks. Probably the easiest refill on the entire east coast.)

Should finally cross the border tomorrow and start getting ready for the exciting upgrades we have planned for XTsea.

Sitting in Illuka Bay waiting for the weather to settle down. Long-duration very strong southerly winds have built the seas so much that all of the bar crossings up this way are currently too dangerous to cross.

XTsea travelled through the heads bright and early this morning and is now heading North.

We'll end up at Boatworks in August to complete our survey inspection and do some work on the boat.

Guests aboard next season will experience new luxurious upholstery inside the cabin, and 'Princess' seats at the bows.
