One of the highlights of our Everest trip is rolling past the Karola Glacier at 5000m altitude. After a leg sapping climb for the previous 90 minutes it’s a relief to know you’ve finally made it to the top of the pass.

Alert Booking!

The CLARKES GAMBIT organising committee is excited to announce the BIG4 Nelligen Holiday Park has been selected for our event centre. We would encourage all riders to book your accommodation as soon as possible for the weekend of 29-30 October 2022. Remember this is planned to be a family friendly weekend so if you want to bring your nearest and dearest, all are welcome!

This location was selected as a central location with varied accommodation levels to suit all tastes and instant access to some of the best Gravel you'll ever ride! Oh and there just happens to be a country pub nearby too which may or may not have influenced our decision :)

PLEASE NOTE:
1.) The park have advised to please call (02) 4478 1076 to book on weekdays between 8:30am and 4pm. However, you might want to check their web site first to decide which accommodation option you want.
2.) Book for Friday and Saturday night and get a 10% discount, just mention you are part of the Graveleur cycling crowd.
3.) Review the park cancellation policy and ensure you are happy to take a tiny risk that the event date or venue could move. We are still working to get final approvals from the relevant authorities, although everything is looking good so a change in date or venue is VERY unlikely. You are of course free to wait until entries open before trying to book.

There are lots more exciting developments in the pipeline so stay tuned for more announcements and of course entries will be open as soon as we have those most important approvals.

RULES AND CONDITION OF ENTRY
1. Bikes are automatically entered in all categories they are valid to be judged in.
2. The decision of judges are final.
3. All Concours entrants must use their own bicycle stand when their bicycle/s are on display. No display stands will be supplied by the Sydney Classic Bicycle Show. Bicycles displayed with no bicycle stand may be deemed ineligible for judging.
4. The organisers of the Sydney Classic Bicycle Show, do not take responsibility for damage or loss of property while bicycle/s are on display.
5. All entrants must ensure their display entries are secure at all times.
6. All Concours entrants must provide information (approx 50-100 words) about the bicycle, brand/model and its history. Also include name and mobile number of bike owner/entrant and categories which bike will be entered in. All entrants to affix info cards to the 'top tube' or handlebar of their display bicycle/s with cable ties.
7. All entries close on 29 Oct 2022 at 5pm. No late entries will be permitted.
8. All entries must be registered via the Eventbrite registration portal - "Concours Registration - 2022 SYDNEY CLASSIC BICYCLE SHOW".
9. In light of imminent or impending bad weather on the day (Sun 30 Oct 2022), the Sydney Classic Bicycle Show Committee reserves the right to postpone the event no later than the 25th October 2022. A new date will be set for the event, dependent on weather, no later than 4 weeks after. The Sydney Classic Bicycle Show will not be responsible for inconveniences or losses incurred by bad weather.
