The Japanese Maglev, also known as the superconducting Maglev (SC Maglev), is currently the world's fastest bullet train, developed by the Central Japan Railway Company and the Railway Technical Research Institute since the 1970s.

It operates using magnetic levitation technology, where powerful superconducting electromagnets on the train and guideway create magnetic repulsion that lifts the train approximately 100 millimeters (4 inches) off the track, eliminating friction and enabling extremely high speeds!

The Maglev technology exemplifies cutting-edge advancements in high-speed rail transportation and is set to revolutionise train travel in Japan and potentially worldwide.
