This , we’re honouring the local growers and vendors across our islands. With colourful stalls filled with fresh, sustainably harvested fruits, and vegetables straight from rich volcanic soils and lush tropical valleys. Islanders work hard feeding our islands and preserving our traditions. 🌺

Two months until Sydney and Tahiti are just one flight apart! ✈️🌺

Meet the wilder side of The Islands of Tahiti 🌿

Nuku Hiva is the largest island in the Marquesas, an archipelago known as the 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗻. Here, ancient archaeological sites, Marquesan arts and traditions sit alongside deep valleys, waterfalls and dramatic hiking country ⛰️. Direct flights from Tahiti take around three hours and twenty minutes, while cruises and passenger vessels offer another way to experience this remote archipelago 🌊.

For travellers who like their islands a little wilder ⛰️

Ua Pou in the Marquesas is famous for its 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀, rich culture and rewarding hiking trails 🌿. The island can be reached by air from Tahiti, with a journey of around four hours, or by cruise. Look out for the unusual flower stones found on Hohoi Beach, one of Ua Pou’s distinctive natural treasures ✨.

October has some very special visitors 🐋
Humpback whales migrate to the warm waters of The Islands of Tahiti each year from 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 to reproduce and nurture their young 🌊.
October is right in the heart of whale season, offering an unforgettable chance to observe these giants of the ocean with an authorised operator while respecting local wildlife regulations 💙.

Quietly stealing the spotlight 🌴 Huahine is often called the 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, and it is easy to see why 💙
Around 40 minutes by air from Tahiti, the island is actually made up of Huahine Nui and Huahine Iti, connected by a bridge. Expect uncrowded beaches, ancient marae, traditional villages and a beautifully relaxed pace 🌊.

The Islands of Tahiti is much more than beaches and lagoons. In Papeete, colourful markets bring together tropical fruit, flowers, local produce and Polynesian flavours 🍍🌿.
A wander through the market is an easy way to experience a little of everyday island life before heading out to explore the rest of Tahiti.
