Colombo, but make it delicious.

GALA NIGHT: A Perfect Send-Off to an Unforgettable UK Tour!

What an incredible way to close out 12 unforgettable days! Tonight’s gala dinner was a packed house from start to finish. Proud parents, beaming coaches, and 120 young cricketers celebrating a tour they’ll remember for a lifetime.

From the bagpiper welcome at Heathrow, to nets at the legendary Lord’s, to exploring the streets of Oxford and battling it out across 48+ fixtures as this journey gave our Desert Cubs so much more than cricket. It gave them friendships, discipline, unforgettable memories, and a taste of the game at its historic home.

Tonight, we celebrated all of it. The laughter, the runs scored, the wickets taken, and the incredible spirit shown by every single player, coach, and parent who made this tour possible.

A heartfelt thank you to our coaches, team management, host clubs, and every family who trusted us with this journey. This tour was a true team effort and tonight proved it.

Until the next tour, this was just the beginning.

One for the memory books! Our Desert Cubs squad hit the indoor nets at Lord’s for a practice session. Every kid’s dream, bowling and batting where the legends have played.

Followed it up with a relaxed lunch at Regent’s Park, soaking in some London sunshine before the next stop.

Day 2 of the Desert Cubs UK Tour is underway!

Our crew caught 2 of the 6 games being played simultaneously today. Under 18 Legends and Under 13 Warriors bringing the heat.

Great locations, competitive cricket, good food = happy kids, happy parents.

The boys from Dubai couldn’t believe it. Neither could Heathrow, to be honest because nobody’s done this before.
