It is with great sadness I announce the passing of Ian Oliver Cole. The GHMR must be seen through to stand legacy to Ian, one of the finest and knowledgeable train enthusiasts and model railroaders in Victoria.

Council and so many hurdles truly disappointing to hear of the lack of support by the powers that be in developing a long standing tribute to Wonthaggi's coal mining era and Bass Coast history for Tourism.

Update 18 April 2022. Hi all. Yes it's been a long time since my last post. No, I haven't died. I've just been snowed under on the homefront with very little time to work on the carriage. But the good news is, the local inspector has signed off my carriage after working on and completing the landing and stair during the year and some of last year, to legal requirements. I will upload more videos in the next couple of weeks of work done over the past two years to keep you updated.
