Hi Folks,
It's with a degree of excitement and some regret that I must announce, the calling of 'last drinks' at Barz Open Fishing Charters - Batemans Bay! Yes the boat has been sold......
Due to a number of health issues dating back to my Policing career, the body has given up. It's time to put the rod in the rack!
The last 3 years have been an amazing journey.
I really want to give a big shout out to some amazing people who made it possible;
Jeff Brooks from Aspro Game Fishing Charters, who taught me so much about charter fishing and being happy in what you do. Great bloke and a top fisho.
Paul McDonald and family from Batemans Bay Marine, who have helped me through every step. Can't thank you enough! The only place to go for your boating needs.
Rod Hawken, Pete Singe, Garry Art, Bernie Basevi, Jarrod McDonald, Ian 'Blocker' Richardson for running the deck and putting up with me. You guys are the best.
Mitch from D'albora Marina, top fella who can't do enough to make life easy.
My brother John, Scotty's Lures, for designing the logo and listening to my crap. Love ya mate.
And lastly my wife Janeene and daughter Jorja, for supporting everything I've done. This would not have happened without you and I love you so much!
Lastly to all those who came out on Charters. Thank you so much. To see the smiles on your face, made every day a bonus. Hopefully we made every day, a day like you were out with friends. Thank you all for making my dream come true!
With the greatest of respect and appreciation I say thank you! It's been a ball.
