Temporary Road Closure // Mount Panorama

The public is advised that the Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit will be closed to traffic on Sunday 25 October 2026 from 7.45am until 9.30am, to conduct the Mount Panorama Punish.

Resident access will be available during the closure. Residents are advised to refer to the notice provided to them.

Race Week is here!

Here's a few quick reminders for race day:

🎧 HEADPHONES: For the safety of all our runners, headphones and earbuds are not permitted (bone conducting headphones are fine). We need you to be able to hear what's happening around you, especially at pace down through the Esses and the Dipper. If you head to the start line with them on the day, you'll be asked to remove them or have your results removed, so please just leave them at home!

🚲 BIKES & PRAMS: Bikes, scooters, prams, wheelchairs and other wheeled vehicles are not permitted. This is a race to test your legs and lungs and we want to maintain safety for all participants - we want your foot power only!

🚗 PARKING: There is plenty of parking on site at the back of the pit area. You'll access this through the tunnel under The Chase. Please give yourself plenty of time, longer than you expect. With close to a thousand runners, there will be a lot of traffic.

☕ COFFEE: Little Vintage Blends and 21st Cup will be set up on site ready to caffeinate you from 6.30am!

🐕 PETS: Animals are not permitted on the race track - it’s a race, a punish. There are plenty of events to suit your furry friends, but the Punish isn’t one. Please leave your pets safely at home.

🚻 TOILETS: Toilets are in the large orange blocks at the back of the pits - towers 1, 2 and 3 with facilities available on both the ground and 1st floor.

⌛ CUTOFF TIME: Remember the 30 minute cut off to get to the KOM (you'll see the Punish flag and timing mat). Stay in front of the sweepers and you'll be grand, but if the bus needs to pick you up, please be kind to our driver, he's a volunteer after all!
