Hi yogis 🤗🙏🏿
Traveling and hosting beautiful Yoga & Wellness Retreats has reminded me just how deeply I love all of this… my teaching, my yogis, and our sacred little home 🌺

I love arriving early…
preparing the space, setting the energy…
and waiting for you to walk through the door.

And then the hugs goodbye 🤗
each and every one of you sharing not just your practice… but your hearts ❤️

After 20+ years, I feel it so deeply, this space holds it all…

Love, laughter, gratitude, community…
Breath, silence, frustrations…
sunrise, sunsets…
a whole sea of human experience 🌊

And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Friendly geography lesson Yogis 🇲🇦
Morocco is not in the Middle East- Morocco is minding its own business between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Yes, Morocco has Arab culture.
Yes, it speaks Arabic (And French).
No, that does not magically move it to another continent.
Culture can overlap. Geography cannot.
Morocco = African country
Middle East = somewhere else entirely
Easy peasy ? 🥰

It's easy to be afraid of the unknown.
Of a place you've only seen on the news.
Of somewhere you've never experienced for yourself.
But travel will change you - if you let it.

Everything feels different when you're actually there.
When you're laughing with someone you just met.
When a meal is shared openly.
When curiosity replaces assumption.
You start to realize that "different" doesn't mean "dangerous."

Some of the most incredible experiences of my life and the most loving, generous people I've ever met - have been in places others warned me about.
And what I've learned is this: We forget we're all human.

One of the most powerful things you can do is sit down at a table with someone.
Share a meal.
Share a story.
I've been welcomed with open arms by people who had very little in terms of material things, yet gave
so freely.
The last portion of their meal.
The best seat in their home. Their time.
Their laughter.
Their stories.
There is something incredibly humbling about being hosted by someone who “has nothing" by society's standards -
yet carries an abundance
of joy, generosity, and pride.
It makes you question what wealth really is.
Because sometimes the richest spirit lives in the simplest home.
And sometimes the people with the least to give materially, give the most from the heart.❤️
That kind of generosity changes you and shows life is bigger than headlines.

While this doesn't mean you throw caution to the wind.
Yes, there are places that require more awareness.
Do your research.
Trust your gut.
Hire trusted local guides.
Be smart.
But please -See places with your own eyes.
Form opinions with your own heart.
Don't stay home because of someone else's fear.
Especially someone who's never been there.
"Be curious, not judgmental."
That applies to travel.
And to life.
I'm always happy to share the places I've been, the quides and companies I
