πΏ HOLIDAY AT HOME: Discover Wattle Range πΏ
Have you explored Woolley Lake yet? π¦πΏ
Located 2km Northwest of Beachport town centre, Woolley Lake is a hidden oasis tucked away in the Beachport Conservation Park. Sheltered from the wind and surrounded by nature, it's the perfect spot to slow down and reconnect with the outdoors.
Follow the Jack & Hilda McArthur Walk, an easy 40-minute loop that winds beneath a canopy of trees and around the lake's edge. Keep an eye out for wombats, herons, cormorants, oystercatchers and the many other creatures that call this peaceful corner of Wattle Range home. Some locals even say there are fairies hiding amongst the scrub! β¨
Take a short detour to the lookout where you can catch a view of not only Wooley Lake but Lake George and Rivoli Bay!
Pack a picnic, let the kids explore, and enjoy one of Beachport's best nature experiences. Rain, hail or shine, Woolley Lake is always worth a visit.
