🌿 HOLIDAY AT HOME: Discover Wattle Range 🌿

Have you explored Woolley Lake yet? 🦆🌿

Located 2km Northwest of Beachport town centre, Woolley Lake is a hidden oasis tucked away in the Beachport Conservation Park. Sheltered from the wind and surrounded by nature, it's the perfect spot to slow down and reconnect with the outdoors.

Follow the Jack & Hilda McArthur Walk, an easy 40-minute loop that winds beneath a canopy of trees and around the lake's edge. Keep an eye out for wombats, herons, cormorants, oystercatchers and the many other creatures that call this peaceful corner of Wattle Range home. Some locals even say there are fairies hiding amongst the scrub! ✨

Take a short detour to the lookout where you can catch a view of not only Wooley Lake but Lake George and Rivoli Bay!

Pack a picnic, let the kids explore, and enjoy one of Beachport's best nature experiences. Rain, hail or shine, Woolley Lake is always worth a visit.

📚✨ What a fantastic afternoon!

Today we were delighted to welcome Beachport Primary School and Preschool to our space as they shared their Learning Expedition presentation and unveiled their new Acknowledgement of Country and Lake George book.

Around 80 people attended the event, including family, friends, community members, Mayor Des Noll as well as Councillor Sharon Cox, coming together to celebrate the students' learning, creativity and connection to place.

Some students' artworks, creations and the Lake Goerge book will remain on display throughout the weekend, so be sure to drop in and take a look. 🎨💙
