We're running a great walk challenge for local women in City of Greater Bendigo this Saturday morning Nov 29th, with our friendly walk leaders Claire and Jo!

It will take in the double reservoir loop (7.9km) + an extra (optional) lap of Crusoe to bring up 10.8km for those who are keen! 🙌

Saturday morning's challenge walk will wrap up our 2025 program.

🚨 With Spring settling in, our reptiles will soon be on the move!

🚗 Please stay alert while driving. Many reptiles are crossing roads this time of year.

🐢 Turtles will be heading out to mate, lay eggs and moving between bodies of water.

🦎 Bearded Dragons and Blue Tongue Lizards often bask on the warm bitumen during the day.

If you see a reptile on the road:
✨ Slow down and pass carefully.
✨ If you’re confident and competent, you can gently move them to safety on the roadside.

As well as running my snake catching business I am also a registered rescuer with Wildlife Victoria and Reptiles Victoria, specializing in the rescue of all Reptiles....
so if you find an injured reptile on the road or anywhere else please feel free to give me a call.

Every little bit helps protect our wildlife. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Bendigo Book Fair Pop-Up at Dudley House as part of the Bendigo Writers Festival. Thanks to your support, we raised an incredible $6,378.85 to help feed locals doing it tough. We loved hearing your kind words about the quality of books and the joy of giving back.

Now, we’re turning the page and getting ready for the second biggest book event of the year - the Spring Book Fair!

Held over the AFL Grand Final weekend, we’ll be back at Bendigo Town Hall next month. This much-loved fair features thousands of pre-loved books, magazines, records, CDs and DVDs - all at bargain prices. Every dollar raised helps us feed 15,500 people across Central Victoria each week.
