It's just a little bit perfect down the coast this morning and I'm jealous of the guests who get to visit over Easter and the school holidays. Happy autumn holidays.

I do love autumn. The light on the ocean driving through Bicheno last night was a dusky pink glow that made my breathing slow and my soul peaceful.

Don't forget to put the sound on to hear the bird song.

Bicheno blowhole was in fine form this morning.

One of the great things to do on the east coast is Pennicott Wilderness Journeys out of Coles Bay just 30min south of the shack. Today we saw dolphins playing off Schouten Passage.

Summer is almost here and after 170mm of rain for the month the little creatures are coming out to play.
