NOTICE OF CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR OPERATING HOURS 🎄🎅️
Please be advised that the Rural Hinterland Visitor Information Centre will maintain operations during the festive season, albeit with adjusted hours to accommodate the reduced visitor and traveller volumes.

From 20th December, 2025, to 11th January, 2026, the Queensland Heritage Park will be open daily from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Please note that the complex and rest area will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

This closure will also impact the operations of the Rural Hinterland Visitor Information Centre (Biloela) in that we will not be able to welcome walk-in visitors to our centre.

The Queensland Heritage Park will be temporarily closed from Monday 10th March, 2025 for approximately two weeks due to insurance repairs.

Please note, however, that volunteers will be onsite to answer phone calls, assist anyone who arrives on site (who is unaware of the closure) and to provide access to the Queensland Heritage Park 48 Hour Rest Area which will not be impacted by the works being carried out.

Please note the following changes in trading hours for this festive season:

CLOSED : BOXING DAY

Normal trading hours will resume on the 6th January, 2025.

Please note that the Rural Hinterland Visitor Information Centre Biloela, Central Queensland, will be open between 12.00 noon and 4pm on ANZAC Day, 25th April, 2024.

The Rural Hinterland Visitor Information Centre will be closed on Good Friday. Our volunteers will however, be manning the VIC for the remainder of the Easter Weekend between 9am and 4pm. We wish you all a Happy Easter and hope that those travelling remain safe on the roads.
