Hi there 👋🏽

I thought it’s about time I introduce myself to help you put a face behind the business. My name is El, (Ellyn) and i was born and raised in Launceston, Tasmania. I now live in Binalong Bay with my partner Ryan in a cute A-Frame shack where I was lucky enough to spend most of my childhood holidays.

I enjoyed a few years travelling in my 20s, living in a beautiful ski town, Whistler, Canada. There I found a passion for the mountains through hiking, snowboarding and camping in the most stunning mountainous regions. I made friendships I will cherish for a lifetime, and it happens to be where I met my beautiful partner 🥰 After Canada we then moved to Newcastle for three years before deciding to relocate to Tassie, bringing us closer to my family and nature 🍃

As well as providing picnics, I am also an interior designer and junior bookkeeper. In my free time you can find me running, camping, trying to surf, or learning a new creative skill. The idea to start a pop-up picnic business originated from my love of food (particularly cheese 🤤) the outdoors, and styling. It seemed like the perfect way to bring a fun, relaxing and aesthetically pleasing experience to Binalong Bay and beyond!
