We set up camp in Birdsville and went off to see Big Red the sand dune, the Birdsville cemetery, the dingo caves and the Waddi tree rest stop

Day 2. Had lunch at the Quilpie Pub after visiting the Foxtrap, Tea at the beautiful Cooper Creek just outside Windorah. Then enjoyed the annual Yabbie Races before heading onwards to Birdsville
