We took our children to this on what was anticipated to be the wettest day of our holiday, and so glad that we did! We spent a few hours here and it was well worth the fee of $10 for our 6 year old! Fees vary based on age:

~ Crawling: Free
~ Walking up to 4 years old: $8
~ 5 to 12 years old: $10

Located close to the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park (keep an eye out for that separate post!), the features:

👍A decent-sized free car park directly behind the venue (via Druitt Court);
👍Beam digital floor with interactive games;
👍Large indoor play structure that includes a ball pit, racer slides and air cannons;
👍Cafe with tables and chairs in the immediate vicinity of the play structure;
👍Climbing wall;
👍Soft play area for smaller children;
👍Party rooms.

The Playhouse is open to all ages from 9am to 3pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 12pm to 4pm on Sundays (closed on public holidays), with after hours parties available.

We recommend arriving shortly after opening during school holidays (and weekends) as it can get busy 😊

*Photos (except of the beam digital floor) taken from the Playhouse’s website so that no children are posted without permission.

🍌 🇦🇺

Entry into the park is free. My husband took advantage of a winter deal and bought unlimited day passes for himself and our son for $59 each. I bought vouchers for select attractions. The boys started with a round of whilst us girls browsed the Australian store. The opal store had lots of great items from crystals to fine jewellery.

Unfortunately the was closed due to wet weather and the is closed from May to August inclusive (next time!) but we were also able to do the following:

- both the boys enjoyed this and had a couple of gos!
- Ice skates and support stands were available free of charge, however there was a small fee for the penguin aid. We recommend the 3-5pm session.
(indoors).
- I rode this a couple of times with our boy but in separate cars. He loved it!
- this ride rotates through at least 4 different scenarios. The rider wears 3D glasses and the seats move. It was fun and my favourite!
- the place to go to buy a variety of candies and watch live demonstrations on how they are made.
and tour - although we did miss the theatre show, we did a short walk through a plantation and read interesting facts along the way.

There are car parks in close vicinity to the as they are spread out throughout the park. We recommend moving to the car park for the laser tag area as it is on a hill and the car park for ice skating as it is away from the other attractions.

For lunch we ordered from the and all of our food was delicious. We recommend the sauerkraut and chicken and avocado toasties - we swapped the side of regular fries with sweet potato fries - yum!

We ended our day with frozen and an ultimate in the and photos with Max, the monkey!

When we return we would also like to explore Steve McEwan’s which is located on site for a small separate fee.

🌊 COFFS HARBOUR, NSW, AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺

Hi Adventurers!

We would like to share the details of our 4-night getaway with our 6 year old son and 6 month old daughter.

There will be separate posts detailing where we stayed and what we did ☺️

🛏 Accommodation:

We stayed 4 nights in a standard 1 bedroom apartment at Smugglers on the Beach, which is located a stone throw away from the quiet .

Our apartment was a good size and clean with an allocated undercover car parking space. It featured an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with a large comfortable sofa, TV with DVD player and reverse-cycle air conditioner, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The spacious bedroom had a single and a double (or queen) bed, plenty of storage including wardrobe and drawers, a full length mirror and an iron and ironing board. Our portacot fit easily in between the beds with room to spare. The bedroom had an ensuite with a shower but no bath which was a little challenging with a baby, however we managed.

Our apartment was on the ground floor and next to the staircase leading to the upper floor so it was occasionally noisy. Also, we could hear guests dragging furniture in the apartment above us. We recommend requesting an apartment on the upper floor and away from the staircase for optimal comfort. The benefit of being on the ground floor was ease of access to our car and the resort’s facilities.

The resort featured a heated swimming pool (the weather seemed to have affected the heating at the time), an excellent under cover BBQ area, a convenient guest laundry, a half-size tennis court and items to borrow like tennis balls and rackets and DVDs.

The location was wonderful not only for the quiet beach but also being a 5-10 minute drive from popular attractions such as the .

The nightly rate for our stay during the NSW winter was $200 and we were able to use our vouchers towards the balance. These vouchers expire on 9 October 2022.

The owners are lovely and very accommodating and will share their knowledge of the area as locals.
