Blyth now has another reason for you to visit our town. The Blyth Mosaic was unveiled in Nov 2 2025. Designed by Mike Tye & completed by over 30 volunteers, it depicts lots of local aspects; sport, people, flowers, birds, renewable energy & the landscape in which we live. It is placed on the northern wall of the Blyth Cafe. Spend a day in Blyth & enjoy all the free attractions we now have, purchase coffee and lunch at the cafe, or if in Blyth on movie day, watch a movie in city quality comfort.

We have a new reason to take a day trip to Blyth. The Dean Nicolle Eucalypt Walk starts on the north end of Blyth & travels 2.2k along the rail corridor. Around 180 species of Eucalypt have nameplates. Open all year with best time to visit April to Oct all day, summer months morning and evening. Signs along walk give details of rail and Walk history, soils, crops and more. A seat at the half way mark.

Thanks to Amanda for this wonderful photo of a Blyth Football Australian rules team Circa 1900. I colourized the photo & it appeared the jumpers may have been dark blue.
