Hotham Park is an absolute must for a family day trip this long weekend!

Just 90 minutes from Destination Perth and 60 minutes from Visit Mandurah, Hotham Park offers something for everyone, from an adventure playground for children to a skate park, pump track, and basketball court for teenagers and adults.
Hotham Park is situated along the Hotham River foreshore and boasts picnic areas, a café, outdoor BBQ facilities, and breathtaking river views. Visitors can immerse themselves in nature, enjoy kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding on the river, and access the nearby nature trails.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗸𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘄

Created by artist, Len Zuks, Quirky Cow is made from recycled steel and reminiscent of the farmland along the journey into town. The sculpture was and created during Len’s time as the artist in residence in Boddington throughout 2019, and is the final sculpture along the Boddington Sculpture Trail.

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗗: 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿

The Sacred Kingfisher (Todiramphus sanctus) is a medium-sized woodland bird found in mangroves, woodlands, forests, and river valleys across Australia, New Zealand, and other regions of the western Pacific. It typically visits Boddington for breeding from September to March, and its primary diet consists of insects.

Boddington is home to over 100 species of birds, which can be spotted around the Hotham River, the golf course, the sports ground complex, and the charming local reserves—all within a cozy 2 km radius of the town center.
