We've reviewed our terms and conditions to provide later payment and greater flexibility.
You are now able to defer final payment to 60 days prior to departure (reduced from 90 days prior to departure). With this, your 10% deposit is also transferrable for longer - you can now transfer up to 60 days prior to departure, rather than the previous 90 days.
We have also reduced our cancellation fees. The reality of group travel, such as our tours, is that we become committed to certain costs as the departure date approaches. We've changed the cancellation fees to better reflect this, so if you have to cancel from 59 – 46 days prior to departure, the cancellation fee is reduced to only 50% of the tour fare. At 45 – 15 days the cancellation fee is reduced to 75% of the tour fare. At less than 14 days notice, we are fully committed and highly unlikely to be able to re-sell your compartment, so at that point the cancellation fee is 100% of the tour fare.
We'd still love you to join us on the train, so where you have to cancel, we will provide future travel credits for the remaining balance of funds paid for another of our tours (subject to availability).
