We visited Bream Creek Vineyard’s new cellar door with friends yesterday and it was superb: unsurpassed views, fantastic service and great platters to sample while tasting Bream Creek’s wonderful wines. Our favourite was the Riesling, but it could easily have been the Pinot or the Cab Merlot too….. Wonderful - and a big thanks from us

Love this land; love our local products.

Where our story began... our Distillery sits among these fields - on the wild and remote south east coast of Tasmania overlooking Hellfire Bluff - where the Daly family planted their first potato crop by hand, over thirty years ago. We source the potatoes for our award-winning Vodka from our farm and it is here where we continue to write the chapters of our story. Thank you for joining us on the journey to craft unique spirits with amazing ingredients in our stunning location.

Lovely kids and our maiden goatlings (with a few of the grannies) getting stuck into some extra feed.

We have had such a wet and cold summer, and autumn is fully here in southern Tas with cold nights (the neighbours had a frost last night). Our kids and girls have had a harder time maintaining their condition, so we have had to increase the crude protein % in their diet. Good to see they love it!

Iain Field of Leap Farm is a local farmer and producer who will be featured on our ‘Paddock to Plate’ stage! This is a presentation you won’t want to miss!

Leap Farm is a 108 ha property that was established by Iain and Kate Field in July 2012. They farm Swiss Toggenburg dairy goats and produce Tongola Cheese on farm, in addition to beef and goat meat. Our mission is to produce the highest quality food and improve the ecology of the landscape while ensuring the best health and happiness of our animals. Happy animals make the best quality food. Leap Farm has been named a delicious. Produce State Winner in the “From the Paddock” category for our goat meat, and our Bloom, Curdy and Zoé cheeses have won State and Gold Medals in the “From the Dairy” category. In 2019, Leap Farm was awarded the Sprout Small Producer of the Year - as voted by other small producers and customers. In February 2020, Leap Farm was short-listed in The Weekly Times Farmer of the Year Award in the Innovation Category.

Inspired by our captivating surroundings we named our distillery after the rocky outcrop of Hellfire Bluff. Tasmania’s beauty is a continual source of inspiration ✨✨✨

Congratulations Hellfire Bluff! We are keen and regular samplers of these products.

Congratulations Hellfire Bluff! We are keen and regular samplers of these products.

Tassie's Hellfire Bluff Distillery has nabbed an award for Australia's Best Varietal Vodka at the 2022 World Vodka Awards for their unique spirit made from potatoes. 🥇

🥔 The distiller is one of only a handful of distilleries in Australia using Tasmanian Pink Eye and Nicola potatoes – rather than grain, sugar cane or rye – to make vodka.

Head distiller Dave "Harry" Harris said Hellfire's vodka strays from the market’s typical “firey, sharp” vodka to offer a smooth, creamy texture.

“It’s the surprise people get when they taste it and it’s quite palatable. It’s always a bit of a satisfying moment when people come in as non-vodka drinkers and leave with a bottle.”

👏 Massive congrats to the team!

The restaurant at the farm is closed today for a private event, but it doesn’t stop our resident echidnas trying to socialize with our friendly alpacas! All other stores open as normal:)
