🚨 The Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) has just been suspended for new international student enrolments.
The diploma has been shut down to new international student enrolments after the government found it was being used by some students to switch study paths and extend their stay in Australia, rather than for genuine study.
📊 Transfers into the course jumped from 510 in 2020 to 4,000 in 2025, with 77% of those switching already studying in Australia.
✅ Students currently enrolled can finish their studies
🚫 No new international students can be recruited into the course
This is the first time the government has used its new course-cancellation powers, and it’s part of a wider push to bring net overseas migration down from around 300,000 a year toward a target of 225,000 by 2028.
