IN REST, THEY REMEMBER

Some people are slowly taken to the other realm.
Not just physically, but mentally.

Memory by memory, they are extricated,
like a painstakingly slow house move.

Boxes full of life, chapters, people, loves.
All packed into a van, to wait their arrival on the other side.

And as these parts are removed, those left feel lonelier daily.

As though their love is already leaving them.

It is a painful departure, my friends, this much is sadly true.

But I like to think of the person we knew, reaching the other side finally, once more whole.

And upon arrival they see their boxes, awaiting them so long,
and they open them up.
The chapters, the memories, the loves…
and reunite with them again.

I can feel that heartfelt joy and it brings me joy too.

They are not lost for long, though it may feel so.

In rest, they remember it all.

And that’s a wrap from us. The last car is now parked up for the night and we are looking forward to being able to spend some very valuable time with some of our friends and family over the next couple of days. Anthony & I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to Ken, Phil, Richard, Jess, Graham, Col, William, Lin, Laurie, Jimmy and the many other Contractors that have helped look after our Clients through what has been our toughest year yet. Our Industry has been one of those hit extremely hard during this pandemic and we have sadly seen many fellow Operators have to shut down. We have had amazing support from both our long term and new clients throughout the year. Support not only in using our service when they could but also in the form of phone calls, emails and texts just saying that they are thinking of us, they hope we are keeping well and to keep fighting on through this. Being on the receiving end of those phone calls I can say was very humbling and I definitely struggled to keep the tears back. It’s easier to hide when you are reading messages. Thank you to you all. We are pleased and proud to say we are still here and will most certainly continue to keep fighting on to provide the high standard of service we have worked hard to bring to you all.
Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoy your celebrations. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We’ve looked after a couple of Brides and Grooms this week. It’s wonderful to see some of our couples who had to cancel their weddings earlier in the year finally be able to celebrate their big day with friends and families.

After the announcement by the Premier today that our Qld borders will open on the 1st December to NSW the phones are ringing. Tomorrow we will hopefully have the same news for Victoria. It was the 10th April that our borders first shut. We have been operating all this time looking mostly after our clients who are essential workers. We have been getting busier every week as things improve. We are looking forward to catching up with all of our existing clients and new ones as well as these beauties get flying again.

And in the last few days we've noticed an increase in our clients booking airport transfers returning to work.
And thanks to those essential workers travelling that supported us since March 23.

Naturally our vehicles are COVID compliant.
