Today we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice, and mateship of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corpsโ€”past and presentโ€”who served so that we may live in freedom.

At dawn services, in quiet reflection, and in the poppies we wear close to our hearts, we remember every story of bravery and every life forever changed.

May their legacy inspire us to stand for peace, look after one another, and live with the same spirit of courage and camaraderie they showed on distant shores.

Lest we forget.
